Chotobuz Botanic Garden in cooperation with Middle European Iris Society prepares a new display for exhibition of modern bearded irises.
This exhibit and competition is about to evaluate new European iris intros. Breeders participating in this competition are members of Middle European Iris Society gathering growers from Czech Republic, Poland and Slovakia. Irises in this competition will be complemented with new intros from Australia, New Zealand and USA for a comparison.
Estimated delivery of the first irises for this display is spring 2013. But first evaluation delays until 2015, because plants need to establish before that. Irises will be evaluated by MEIS judges and also visitors will asked to choose the most interesting Iris.
